SAT Testing on 4/13 (Asynchronous Learning Day)

Reported by webmaster@ipsd.org on 4/8/21

SAT test for all 11th grades and for 12th graders who did not take the SAT in September will take place on April 13th from 7:25-12:00.

All students will be participating in a asynchronous day of learning on the 13tth.

The essay portion of the assessment has been removed. This will still provide participating students with a college-reportable score. The SAT will be administered as planned to 11th grade students and some 12th grade students as described below. The primary testing date for the SAT remains on April 13. There will be no School Day SAT offered to the class of 2022 seniors in Fall 2021. Current 11th grade students who are unable to participate in April 2021 will be required to participate in the April 2022 School Day SAT.

SAT requirement for graduation
ISBE has suspended the requirement that current seniors participate in a School Day SAT. Seniors that did not test last fall are encouraged to participate in the SAT this spring, but it is not required. Seniors who did participate in the School Day SAT last fall may not participate again on April 13.
