AP Art Studio Information 2017

Welcome to AP Art Studio for the 2017-2018 school year. I am happy to see your names on the roster for this course and excited to work with you next year. Here is a document that outlines the portfolio requirements:

Here is a note about the summer work you should do in preparation for this course:

Summer Work for AP Studio Art Please review this packet and familiarize yourself with the expectations of AP Studio Art. The AP central website will also serve as a great resource for you to explore. I would like you to inventory your best pieces of art that you have completed over the past year or two and list them in the breadth section. We will look closer at these pieces in August and determine if they are strong enough for this AP section and decide what additional pieces need to be completed. You should plan to complete 2-3 new pieces for the breadth section this summer. Please bring these works on the first day of class in August. Have a great summer and if you have any questions these expectations or would like some feedback on your art, you can email me at Karen_Popovich@ipsd.org.
