SAT Testing Information

SAT Testing - April 10, 2018

Please note that on April 10, 2018, all 11th grade students will be administered the College Board SAT (with essay). Students are automatically registered for the assessment by Metea Valley High School/District 204. The College Board SAT assesses reading, writing, language and mathematics reasoning focusing on knowledge and skills predictive of college and career readiness and success. The core classes prepare students for the SAT assessment. Students are also encouraged to access Khan Academy for additional practice.

Participation in this assessment is a requirement for high school graduation in Illinois. Additional information regarding this assessment is available at It is anticipated that results will be available in late May or early June. Students may elect to send their scores for free to up to four colleges/universities of their choice on the testing day.

April 10 Testing Day Schedule

Tuesday, April 10 will be an early dismissal day for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. Seniors are off for the purposes of college exploration.

All Juniors will be taking the SAT Test.

Freshman/Sophomores will be following a modified Class Schedule

Period 1. 7:25-8:00
Period 2. 8:05-8:45
Period 3. 8:50-9:25
Period 4. 9:30-10:05
Period 5. 10:10-10:45
Period 6. 10:50-11:25
Period 7. 11:30-12:05
Period 8. 12:10-12:45
