School Readiness Days Process
Welcome to Metea Valley’s Readiness Days!
Station 1: Punch Card Table – Inside Door 1: Pick up your individualized punch card that will walk you through each station.
Room F100- Art – Assistance Room – Language Assistance, Free/Reduced Lunch, Fee Waiver Applications, PushCoin
Station 2: Nurse’s Office Table – Art Room F105: This is your opportunity to drop off any health/physical records, Health Emergency Cards, and any medication related forms.
Station 3: Athletics Office Table – Art Room Hall: This is your location to for dropping off athletic physicals, other team paperwork, and ask athletic questions.
English Novel Studies – Book Fair: Auditorium Concession Window – Purchase your own novel – Cash & Checks only
Station 4: Optional: MV AMP – Music – Junior Hall: Your opportunity to turn in your membership forms.
Station 5: Fee Statement Table – Commons/Athletic Office: You will receive an itemized billing statement with a “balance due”. This is identical to what you can print off PushCoin (our new billing/payment system). If you have not set up your PushCoin, please do. .
Station 5A: Fee Payment Table – Commons: If you have not already paid all of your fees in PushCoin, and you wish to pay us: make all checks payable to Metea Valley HS. We will put them into your PushCoin Account.
Station 6: Activity Pass Table – Commons: This is where you may purchase your student Activity Pass - $15.00 if you did not purchase at the time of registration, or verify you already have one purchased prior to having your ID made.
Station 7: Yearbook Pictures & ID distribution – Cafeteria: There will be three photographers working quickly processing students through the photographs. Ready yourself by completing your picture packet (mailed to your home if you wish to purchase your school photo.) Your picture will be sent to the ID print station and your Activity Pass will be printed on your ID if you purchased one.
Station 8: Optional: PTSA – Senior Road Trip – Athletic Booster – Bricks: Cafeteria/Commons: This area consists of tables for our parent organizations. This is your opportunity to sign up for PTSA and Athletic Booster memberships, purchase your senior student their Senior Road Trip ticket, and purchase a memory MV Brick for your student. It is also your chance to visit The Mustang Spirit Wear Store to purchase your Mustang Wear. Each station will require separate payments if you choose to join or make purchases.
Station 9: Yearbook Distribution & Order - College & Career Center: If you ordered a 2016-17 yearbook, you will pick it up here and will be able to place your order for your 2017-18 Yearbook on the computer if you have not done so already.
Station 10: MV Lit Mag – Freshman Hall: Your opportunity to purchase your MV Lit Magazine on line.
Station 11: Chromebooks – LMC: You will be given your Chromebook provided you have completed your online registration and accepted the 1:1 policy. If you have not you will need to sign the paperwork, along with your parent. Your Chromebook will be on your Destiny account with your textbooks and library books. (login on the home page with your computer login and password).
Station 12: Handbooks – Freshman Hall: Once you have completed all punches on your punch card, you will sign it to receive your Student Handbook.
Station 13: Schedule Pick Up – Atrium: Turn in your completed and signed punch card to
receive your student schedule. Your schedules have confidential information like your locker number and combination. Please don’t lose them!
Congratulations! You’re all done! Feel free to tour the building, walk your schedule, and locate/test your locker. If you have a problem with your locker, please register that need at the desk on your way out door #1.
Class Houses are CLOSED. We encourage you to email or call your counselor with any questions.
