MVHS Art Students Earn Scholastic Honors

The Scholastics Art Competition is a national competition that recognizes the exceptional vision of our nation’s youth and provides an opportunity for students to be awarded for their creative talents. Metea Valley participates in the Suburban Chicago Art Region which serves DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Will, and portions of Cook County.
The judging took place on Saturday, January 18th and this scholastic region had nearly 2,000 entries.
Metea Valley High School is proud to announce that fifteen student artists from Metea Valley have received Scholastic Honors and will have their work displayed in the virtual Scholastic exhibition hosted by Downers Grove North High School.
Congratulations to the following students for their Scholastic Honors: Rebecca Li, Garrett Clamage, Kelly Rodriguez, Colin Carrera, Connor Akstulewicz, Cheyenne Brown, Jonathan Jacobson, Rishita Korapati, Emily Day, Lauren McDonagh, Cathering Chang, Kinza Chouhdry, and Abby Terada.
