I AM Initiative: Black Lives Matter Discussion

Reported by webmaster@ipsd.org on 2/4/19.

Why the emphasis on Black Lives Matter? is the first conversation in the monthly “Meet Me Where I AM” conversation series. For this series, a variety of Metea Valley clubs are partnering together to facilitate discussion on topics that have the attention of our nation. The conversations will take in the LMC Collaboration Center during all lunches, snacks will be provided, and students may bring their lunches as well. The space will welcome a variety of perspectives, and the goal will be for attendees to become more informed and to recognize the power of listening and empathy in order to promote productive dialogue. This month’s conversation will take place on Tuesday, February 12, and all students are welcome.
